The "Massugu GO!" protagonist Amamiya Manami ("Manabi") was cute, funny, and not too annoying (yet). I didn't even notice she was voiced by Yui Horie until she started singing. The supporting cast were rather cliche'd as well, but I mostly enjoyed them a lot (except for the retarded one). The scene when Manabi became student council president was nice, albeit rather confusing. The song was enjoyable, although a little too long. And of course, the animation was gorgeous.
All topped off by a not-so-spectacular ending song by Megumi Hayashibara (but Megumi Hayashibara none the less).
This turned out better than I expected. Let's see how long ufotable can keep it up this time.
